Good job, that HathiTrust is kind of a pain in the ass to search!

Yes. The text produced by g@@gle's OCR software is replete with errors. Some of the pages were pure gibberish, so I had to OCR them myself using TopOCR. Parts of pages in some volumes are missing, so my program also searches the indexes for those volumes.

My program uses a fuzzy matching algorithm so that it will find the title even if there are errors in it. Example:

************************************
************************************
** MEN ARE SUCH FOOLS ** 1938 **
**----------------------**--------**
************************************

-------------- 1966-A.txt --------------
[No matches.]
-------------- 1966-B.txt --------------
[No matches.]
-------------- 1965-A.txt --------------
0.056
HEN ARE SUCH FOOLS, a photoplay In
eight reels by Warner Bros. Pictures.
(C) 8:-1ar38; LP8102. United Artists
Television, Inc. (PWH); 7Apr65;

-------------- 1965-B.txt --------------
[No matches.]
-------------- 1967-A.txt --------------
[No matches.]
-------------- 1967-B.txt --------------

The 0.056 is the amount of error.

I can't seem to find Sincerely Yours (November 1955) ANYWHERE in the listings and I went through the entire @#$%ing list twice... From the looks of the omission...it could be in the public domain...but I'll need more to go on...

I'm really looking for this one and if it is indeed PD...PLEASE put it in here...for it's the most unintentional comedy that Hollywood ever produced...

Are you sure I walk alone was renewed early? I have it as registered on 29Jul47 and renewed on 12Sep74. The renewal window for this film would have been 29Jul74-29Jul75, so the renewal seems timely, not early. It's only for post-1950 films that the renewal window became the 28th calendar (instead of anniversary) year following registration/publication (according to http://chart.copyrightdata.com/index.php#renew)
